A holiday gift guide featured Boom Again. Here is how the piece opened:
For Players: Board Games and Jigsaw Puzzles! Remember when we all played Trivial Pursuit? Boomers, this new game built on that model is here for you, complete with tokens that vibe the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, from a skate key to a roach clip…
The tokens are one of the first things players notice when they open the box. Instead of plastic pawns, you move real keepsakes of the era around the board, and each one tends to start a story of its own.
Boom Again is the pop culture trivia board game for Baby Boomers, created by Brian Hersch, the inventor of Taboo, Outburst and Super Scattergories. It packs more than 2,200 questions about the music, TV, movies, sports, politics and fads of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s into six categories: what you Heard, what you Saw, what you Learned in School, what happened in the Street, what made the News, and the fast-paced Shout round.
