Boom Again was featured in the press. Here is how the piece opened:
Before making amusing games like Taboo and Malarkey, Brian Hersch worked in real estate. Clearly, he remembers that field’s maxim: location, location, location. In the midst of the pandemic, Hersch recognized that most of us are stuck at home, including one especially significant group: baby boomers…
Boom Again grew out of that idea: a game made specifically for the generation that remembers the era first-hand, instead of a general trivia game with a few nostalgia questions mixed in.
Boom Again is the pop culture trivia board game for Baby Boomers, created by Brian Hersch, the inventor of Taboo, Outburst and Super Scattergories. It packs more than 2,200 questions about the music, TV, movies, sports, politics and fads of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s into six categories: what you Heard, what you Saw, what you Learned in School, what happened in the Street, what made the News, and the fast-paced Shout round.
