Boom Again was featured in the press. Here is how the piece opened:
Boom Again. This is a brand-new board game intended for members of the Baby Boomer generation. Created by Brian Hersch, inventor of Taboo (about which I have a story, but about which I am sworn to secrecy) this is a trivia game meant for people who remember the 50s, 60s, 70s. Its container looks like a cigar box with pictures of Janis Joplin…
Being picked as one of the “things I can’t live without” is a nice compliment for a board game. The cigar-box style container, covered with faces from the era, doubles as a keepsake on the shelf.
Boom Again is the pop culture trivia board game for Baby Boomers, created by Brian Hersch, the inventor of Taboo, Outburst and Super Scattergories. It packs more than 2,200 questions about the music, TV, movies, sports, politics and fads of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s into six categories: what you Heard, what you Saw, what you Learned in School, what happened in the Street, what made the News, and the fast-paced Shout round.
